Intern Deals Analyst, building deal infrastructure across a large venture portfolio.
MAGIC Fund is a pre-seed/seed venture fund, and as an intern deals analyst there, I worked on the operational infrastructure behind how the fund runs its SPV process — building a scoring framework the team could use to quickly assess which portfolio companies were ready to raise through an SPV.
From there, the work moved into execution: supporting SPV formation for select portfolio companies, coordinating LP outreach, and building out GP-facing communication processes to keep general partners aligned as deals progressed. I also ran regular portfolio reviews to help keep performance data current.
The output: a reusable SPV playbook and process documentation the fund can lean on going forward — a more structured, repeatable way to move deals from scoring through to execution.
